In Miami-Dade County, even though a landlord can file an eviction and obtain a final judgment of eviction, the Mayor of Miami-Dade County is blocking residential landlords from recovering possession of their property. The Miami-Dade County Mayor has ordered the Miami Dade Court Services Bureau to "stand down" and not to execute any writs of possession or conduct any removals of non-paying residential tenants.
